Submission Guidelines
e-Book Formats
Your e-Book must be well written , proofread, and submitted as a MS Word .DOC file to bizwriter@smallbizguides.com.
File Size
e-Books should be no larger than 10 MB.
Cover Images
SmallBizGuides.com requires all e-book to have a cover image. The cover image you provide will be used on the e-Book's product page within SmallBizGuides.com.
Cover Image File Type: GIF or JPEG (.gif, .jpg, .jpeg)
Cover Image Size: minimum of 120x160 pixels
If a cover image is not provided, SmallBizGuides.com will use a cover that meets our standards and policies.
Ready To Sell
Your e-book must be submitted ready to sell. It is important that you thoroughly proofread your manuscript for errors. We will provide a scan of your content and report any error found but this does not replace the thorough review needed before publishing your e-book at SmallBizGuides.com. In addition your e-book must be submitted as a single downloadable file.
Pricing Your E-book
We recommend your book be priced at a minimum of $5.95 and a maximum of $19.95. e-Books at higher prices must be a new and unique business idea in order to sell. Ask yourself if the information in your e-book can be obtained at a lower price through other method. Remember what makes e-books attractive to prospective buyer.

e-Book Summary
Pleas tell us how your e-book can help the reader. Why should a customer purchase your guide? Below are some ideas of want to include in the summary.
· Describe what makes your e-book Unique.
· Why should prospective buyer purchase your e-book? How will they benefit?
· What is the suggested price point for your e-book?
· Include the author’s bio.
Submission Method
Your e-book will be reviewed by our editorial team and if accepted we will e-mail you with instructions on how to send us your e-Book and cover image.
Royalties
When you list your e-Book at SmallBizGuides.com, you will earn 60% commission on every sale. All commissions greater than $25.00 are paid monthly, within fifteen days after month-end.
Sales Tracking
You will be notified each time your e-book sells. In addition, you will receive a monthly report reconciling your e-book’s monthly sales.
Non-Exclusive Agreement
SmallBizGuides.com does not require that you sign a contract in order to post your e-book on our website. In addition, we will never require exclusive rights to your e-book. You will always retain all rights to your work. You can sell your e-book with other websites or publishers. You may discontinue the sell of your e-book by simply e-mailing us at bizwriter@smallbizguides.com.
Listing Fee
To publish your work electronically only, we charge a one time $24.95 listing fee per title for converting your manuscript and posting it to our website.
To produce an e-book cover and publish your work electronically, we charge a one-time fee of $39.95. For that low price we will produce a high quality e-book cover utilizing the photograph that you provide, convert your manuscript to a secure e-book format and post your e-book to our website.
